1.  Fireproof

 
As the cables are all composed of inorganic materials (copper and magnesium oxide), which itself does not cause a fire, it is not possible to burning or combustion-supporting, due to copper melting is 1083 ℃,  magnesium oxide melting point is 2800 ℃, so the cable can staying power in the near the copper melting point in case of fire, is a real sense of fireproof cable. And pass through BS6387 C W, Z,  test.

2. Big current-carrying capacity / ampacity , waterproof
 
Due to the mineral insulated cable actual normal using temperature can reach 250 , IEC60702 states mineral insulated cable continuous working temperature is 105  , which is considered end seal materials and safety need. Even so, it's carrying capacity is also far more than other cable, because the thermal conductivity for powder of magnesium oxide is better than the plastic , so the same temperature, its ampacity is much greater. For 16mm2 above the line, it can be reduced by a section, the place that does not allow people to contact, can reduce the two sections.
 
Due to the  copper sheath of mineral insulated cableis is seamless copper pipe, terminal connection using the seal mud which is  high-tech products can soak in the water for long time. So the water molecules are completely separated out, is a real sense of waterproof products.
 
 
3. Explosion proof & Corrosion resistance
 
Explosion proof characteristics: due to the  copper sheath of mineral insulated cableis is seamless copper pipea and magnesium oxide powder is closely compaction, combustible gas, oil and gas, flame won't be able to reach the electrical equipment which connected with the cable, so this cable has explosion-proof properties.
 
Corrosion resistance: because copper has good corrosion resistance, in the normal using environment, it does not need any additional protection, under the special environment conditions, such as in the  environment of strong corrosive to copper, cable outside add a layer of PVC outer sheath, so the cable has a good corrosion resistance.
 
 
4. Resistance to mechanical damage, long life, halogen free & non-toxic
 
Resistance to mechanical damage: because there is a certain strength and toughness of cable metal sheath, magnesium oxide is highly compressed in the processing of cable , the cable when subjected to bending, flattening and torsion deformation, the relative position between the core wire and core wire and a sheath isn't change, and don't cause a short circuit, will not affect the electrical properties.
 
Long life: because all the materials of the cable is used inorganic materials, not aging. Its service life can be calculated according to the rate of copper oxide corrosion. Data show that the protective sheath of oxidation of 0.25mm, at 250 ℃ of environmental temperature, it needs 257 years. and the thickness of the insulation of the cable is generally between 0.34-1.05, the use of temperature is below 250, so the cable has a long life characteristics.
 
No halogen, non-toxic: due to cable are all composed of inorganic materials (copper and magnesium oxide powder) and even in the 1000  ℃ high temperature combustion also won't produce smoke, halogen and toxic gases. It is the real sense of halogen-free nontoxic cable.
 
 
5.  Overload  resistance, copper sheath can be ground wire
 
Overload resistance: because the melting point of copper is 1083 , the melting point of magnesium oxide is 2800, compared with the ordinary plastic cable, the load capacity of the mineral insulated cable can be improved by a section level, and can withstand a large overload, the overload capacity can reach more than 100 times the normal current-carrying capacity.
 
Copper sheathed can be ground wire: for mineral insulated cables, due to the continuity of the copper sheath and the very low grounding resistance, so it can be used as a ground wire, do not need to separate ground wire.
